Smiling Dogs Training, LLC,is owned and operated by Noelle Fischer, J.D.
About Noelle:
Noelle has had a lifelong love of dogs. As a child, she frequently brought home stray and abandoned dogs and, in fact, continues to do so. Over time, Noelle became increasingly fascinated with modern dog training techniques, learning theory and its application to dog training. This fascination led Noelle to begin her ongoing journey in the study of canine learning theory, training methods and their applications.
Noelle has also had the advantage of studying with and learning from one of the country's foremost dog trainers and author, Sarah Wilson, of The Family Dog Inc. Sarah provided Noelle with the rare opportunity to work as an assistant trainer in Sarah's training seminars. Working with Sarah Wilson has allowed Noelle a unique opportunity to learn from an extraordinary dog trainer, who develops and utilizes some of the most effective training methods available today.
In her own role as a professional dog trainer, Noelle emphasizes fun, easy to learn, effective training methods that build a solid relationship between dog and owner. Among her other areas of expertise, Noelle also specializes in working with visually impaired dogs. Her love for working with such dogs was born from her work with her own, almost entirely blind, dog, Bear.
In November of 2006, Noelle left behind her long and successful career as a trial attorney, in order to dedicate herself to dog training full time. Noelle shares her home with her two mixed breed dogs, Bumble and Bear, as well as with her Shetland Sheepdog pup, Bounce. She trains Bumble, Bear and Bounce in the sports of Rally Obedience and Tracking. She has recently begun to train Bounce in Herding. |
